An excellent copy, courtesy of the David Rumsey Map Collection, of the colorful, one time printing of Jo Mora's map of his Carmel-by-the-Sea carte (the word Jo used for his maps).
Pictured here, courtesy of the David Rumsey Map Collection, is the original pen and ink drawing by Jo Mora of his Carmel-by-the-Sea carte from 1942. It is interesting to note how little Chinawhite (used back in the day to cover mistakes) there is on the drawing - an indication of Jo Mora's sure hand and committed approach to his work.
